mission impossible 2 opening scene

this is the opening scene of  mission impossible 2. the start the opening scene is a long shot showing the actor tom cruise in a distant country doing a dangerous activity. this will exite the veiwer as it shows them that the movie is set in a exotic place. the charater doingthe cliff climbing without a harness shows that the moive will put the veiwers on the edge of her seats. At about a minute and a half through the camera zooms out to show the massive drop and the gradient of the cliff.
 the music in the scene links in with the exotic country. The light looks very strong as it is coming from the sun and make it seem very dry and arid.

The Expendables 2 | Opening Action Scene

the scene is from expendables 2. the opening scene starts off with a convoy of obviously well armored vehicles. the director uses allot of different angles to generate a fast pace sequence. the scene is set in a hot arid desert complex, this could excite the audience as it shows the movie is set in different countries. the movie has alot of well known action movie stars such as Jason stathem and Sylvester stalone. they do close up shots on each actor to show the audience who they have acting for there action film. driving into the compound the director uses ALOT of different angles for a short period of times. he uses close ups for facial expressions, mid shots to show the actors shooting, long shots to show the cars driving and many more. there is allot of blood and gore in the opening scene and for the movies target audience this would appeal for them.

skyfall motorbike chase

the skyfall motorbike scene inspired our opening two minutes of our movie. we are wanting to start our moive in an action scene to exite our veiwers and get them intruiged in out movie. our target audience will be maily of the male gender as out film will involve a fair amount of action. we will start out movie in a main action scene and finish with a calm scene sometime before the main action scene. this will make our opening scene a prolouge to make out viewers excited to see the scene that would be in the movie at some point and will make them think why the actor is in such a bad situation.
