Research and Planning Preliminary Task
Revisit research posts and explore further target audience, editing, mise en scene, locations, camera compostition, sound, light, branding, use of titles, genre indicators, key moments. Create an animatic using your storyboard materials and comments on its strengths. Post on the history of your genre. Make sure you haven't posted something of interest, like a picture of you in costume, without comment. 14/20
All ages are admitted, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children
It is suitable for people aged 12 and over, but in some cases the parents may feel that some things in a 12 film are unsuitable.
This is suitable for ages 15 and over. 15 rated films contain adult themes, strong language and drug and sex references.
Films under this category do not have limitation on the bad language that is used. Hard drugs are generally allowed, and explicit sex references along with detailed sexual activity are also allowed.
our film will a 15 age rating as we will want most of the teenagers to view our film as the action genre is aimed at male teenagers.
Our film age certificate will be 15. The reasons for this are that our film will contain strong language and violence. Strong language will be used when the main character is being shot at and also it will be used in the interrogation scene. Their will be quite extreme violence in this film. There will be murders, gunshots, knifes and fist fights. Having the film rated 15 we are still able to appeal to our target audience. If the film was rated 18 we would not be able to appeal to a large part of our target audience. The target audience for this film is mostly 15-24.
storyboard
this is the last story board of our opening two minutes. this is the shots of the two villains (jack Nunn and Dominic Cowley) talking to agent Sinclair as he finds out his fellow agent has been captured and it was a trap all along. it is also the ending scene of the action sequence of our opening two minutes.
storyboard
this story board is the very first shots of the action sequence of our opening two minutes. this is of agent Sinclair (acted by Alex Morgan) and another agent (acted by Tomas Cunningham) these story boards were easy to draw as it was only a medium shot of each agent on the phone with basic back grounds and not too much detail.

non copyright music. action sound.mp4
this is the music we are wanting to used for the action part of our opening two minutes. The music very similar to the inception with the low beat when the black fade comes in. this music is very action like so it will go very well with our opening two minutes.
The new title research
we had talks about the name 'INTEL' we thought we needed a title that would be more in your face and action like. another problem with the name intl that there is a company name called intel which could be copy right. we decided the name of the title from a similar movie called the firm. we like the name of it and the way they displayed the name on the cover. we typed firm into a thusaurus to find a simiar name, Alliance stood out. instead of using word to find out what type of font we should use, we used a specific website which made better titles. The top left is our best option as it big bold and easy to read, it is also no to complicated so thr title will stand out more.

pictures from our location
this would be the road will will be using in the moped arriving to the location scene. this was a good road as it was very queit and smooth. we got some good shots of me riding towards the camera. this location was also very close to my house and has an abundance of buses and a train station near by so it was easily asseable for all our actors. the weather was very cold as it was in a open space and was very windy which put us in a disadvantage as the wind would blow our hair in to positions that does not look professional. we did all of our filming in one day as the lighting was very hard to get the same as it got dark very early and some days were sunny and some says were raining.
the moped we will be using in the main scene
this is the piaggio nrg. we use this moped in our main scene to ride up to the location. we use alot of fast pace shot to make the moped seem faster than it acctually is. the moped is good for the opening to minuites as its all black and looks sly. we could of improved it by making the moped look more profecinal as the learner plates make it look less agenty
picture of our location (epsom downs)
this is our location for the main action sequence. this is a car park at the top of Epsom downs in Epsom. we chose this location has it has gravel surface as it will be easier to perform the power slide stunt. The car park was very quiet so we did not have to deal with waiting for car to pass that often or too much back ground noise. this loaction was also walking distance from my house which was the interrogation scene was filmed.

movie board
story board
story board #1
this is our first story board. this is the interrogation scene. the scene includes a bundle of medium shots and close up shots to make agent Sinclair seem less powerful and weak. this scene is located at my house in my dads workshop in my garden. we thought this was a good location as it was intimidating as there are tools lying around and the lighting was low which seemed the scene seem dark and dirty.
